Why do you want to be a tutor?
- I teach children in a way that they can understand the concepts and succeed in the classroom and beyond the classroom. I am happy when my students are enjoying learning and striving to become the best citizens they can be. I hope to be able to become your child's teacher, as well as their friend.
Why should a student pick you?
- I am a certified teacher in general education with a focus on elementary education. Throughout college, I was a nanny for elementary aged children. This past Fall semester I completed my student teaching requirements in a 3rd grade classroom at Lakewood Elementary School in Dallas.
I am on outgoing, patient teacher. I love children and I more than willing to go above and beyond to make that the learning experience is enjoyable for my students.
Personal Statement:
- I have recently moved to Austin to be closer to my family. I have three nieces (ages 4 years, 1 year, and 6 months) that I love to spend time with. I am an energetic, easy-going person that loves children. I have always wanted to pursue a career that involves interacting with children.
